Result Of The Photon Science Competition (PhSC) 2024 Indonesia

SIMETRI Foundation The Photon Science Competition (PhSC) is a collaborative effort between Surya Institute and the. SIMETRI Foundation has been training the Indonesian Physics Olympiad Team for the Asian and International Physics Olympiad for more than 20 years. Both Surya Institute and SIMETRI Foundation have the same vision of nurturing students’ competence so that they can thrive in the fields of math and science.

Through the Photon Science Competition, it is hoped that students will light up their scientific minds and become like photons, playing an important role in science, the community and the world.

On Saturday, October 12th, 2024, the Photon Science Competition (PhSC) 2024 Indonesia was organized by the Surya Institute for the Promotion of Science (SIPS). Students from different schools in Indonesia participated in this science competition. PhSC 2024 was held in Pekanbaru, Batam, Palembang, Jakarta, Jogjakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Kediri, Balikpapan, Makassar, Bali and Timika.

A total of 697 students participated in this competition, with details as follows:
EPSILON (Grade 1-2): 136 students.
DELTA (Grade 3-4): 180 students.
GAMMA (Grade 5-6): 184 students.
BETA (Grade 7-8): 197 students.
